The VFMC holds a children's dance for school age children on the third Saturday of each month (except in school holidays). Each month features live music from one of our volunteer bush bands.
Dance for school age children This dance is designed to give school age children a fun taste of Australian Bush Dancing. Support and participation by a parent or guardian is highly desirable. Several bush bands who perform at our monthly dances also volunteer their services to introduce youngsters to the joys of dance and intimate live music. We welcome additional bands to join us. Towards the end of each year, our dance convenor organises a schedule for the next year in consultation with the bands.

VFMC is optimistic that due to easing of the Covid-19 virus restrictions, Children's Dances will be able to recommence in February 2022. Please check the status of this event before attending.
